Mayank Agarwal’s hunger for runs reaches new heights with every match and he put up an exhibition of storied batsmanship in Indore as well. When he reached 150 in a completely chanceless manner, Virat Kohli instructed him to play patiently for 200 and Agarwal responded with a thumbs up.

The third delivery of the 77th over in India’s innings, bowled by Taijul Islam, was a short one for Agarwal to make him uncomfortable but the Indian opener pulled it for a four to bring up his 150 in style. Having scored a double hundred against South Africa last month, it was for the second time in as many months that Agarwal crossed the 150-run mark, making himself settled for the second double ton of his career.Once he started celebrating, the camera panned towards the dressing room where everyone had a jubilant smile on their face. Most ecstatic was Virat Kohli, who after celebrating the century, instructed Agarwal to go for a double and should keep his patience. That had a positive ripple effect on the Karnataka opener as he instantly responded with a thumbs up - in a real confident manner.

Woah! Kohli now asked for 300!🔥🤟
