India's chairman of selectors MSK Prasad has upheld the Indian management for having built a team for all formats that is not afraid of any seaming track in the world. He also recalled on some of the important decisions that he had to take during his tenure as the head of the selection panel.

In the past, India has had issues with the pacers' performance in the seaming tracks of England, Australia and South Africa. However, those issues seem to be buried deep within with the all-star pace attack that Virat Kohli possesses.

The effect of the Indian pacers is clear on the team’s performance, with wins in Australia and South Africa in the last two years. Further, the pacers were impressive in the home Pink-ball Test against Bangladesh, where they picked up 19 wickets out of the 20 in the two innings at Eden Gardens. It was also the first time that the pacers took 19 wickets out of the 20 in the current era in India.

“Every generation throws up one or two good teams, but this is a complete team. Being at the top of the ICC Test rankings for the last few years is a fantastic thing, but it is not just about numbers. We have built a team for all formats," said Prasad to the Hindu.

Further, the chairman of selector was confident that teams would be afraid of preparing seaming tracks with the attack that India possess. “We have a complete Test team,” added Prasad. India's domination in the pace-department has been visible in the recent past, with Jasprit Bumrah leading the attack force alongside the likes of Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami.

"In the past, we have built a winning culture and today no team — England, New Zealand or Australia — will give us seaming tracks. That is the scare we have created,” he concluded.
