Both Plate Group matches scheduled in Dehradun on Sunday — Nagaland vs Mizoram and Manipur vs Chandigarh — were abandoned without a coin toss due to wet outfield. With one win each from their respective games, Uttarakhand, Mizoram, and Puducherry sit at the top of the table with eight points.

Much like in Vadodara, rain has continued to play the spoiler in the Plate Group matches scheduled in Dehradun as well. So far, the 18th season of India’s domestic one-day tournament has seen 29 out of the 56 matches abandoned either before the toss or after some play had occurred. Only Group B has escaped completely from the wrath of the rain gods, while Group C has been under its full fury with all 15 matches on the list thus far being called-off.

On Sunday, September 29,  Taruwar Kohli and Rongsen Jonathan were expected to lead their sides out at the Abhimanyu Cricket Academy, while Prafullomani Singh-led Manipur and Manan Vohra-led Chandigarh were set to clash at the Tanush Academy Ground. Once again, all four teams will share the spoils equally — gaining each team two points on the table. Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh sit at the bottom of the pile with one loss each  — Sikkim against Meghalaya and Arunachal against Mizoram.
