Cricketer MS Dhoni, tennis legend Leander Paes, and Indian football captain Sunil Chhetri have come together to raise funds for a Mohun Bagan fan, who is fighting cancer, and the family of a deceased East Bengal fan. Various merchandises of the stars will be auctioned to raise funds for this cause.
All the earnings from the auction will go to die-hard Mohun Bagan fan Bapi Majhi, who has been diagnosed with stomach cancer a few months back, and East Bengal supporter Alip Chakraborty's family, who lost the battle against cancer a week back.
Dhoni has donated his wicket-keeping gloves and pads for the auction, while Sunil Chhetri's Indian team jersey will go under the hammer. CAB president Sourav Ganguly has donated a Mohammedan Sporting T-shirt, which he wore while playing for them during the club's platinum jubilee celebrations.
Ajinkya Rahane, VVS Laxman, Jeje Lalpekhlua, Jhulan Goswami, Manish Pandey, Shakib al Hasan and Gurpreet Singh Sandhu have also contributed their belongings for the auction, which is being organized by Xtratime.in.
Bale attempted 2.6 shots per game this SLL, while Benzema has attempted 2 shots.
