Brazil forward Neymar has responded to Bolivian striker Yasmani Duk's criticism by saying that he will continue to show off his skills on the pitch even if his show boating angers his opponents. Neymar also spoke about the camaraderie he enjoys with Barcelona's Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

Last week, Brazilian star Neymar had to be substituted during the country's match against Bolivia after being elbowed in the face by Yasmani Duk after he attempted to nutmeg the striker. Brazil won the match 5-0 but their talisman was left with a bleeding nose.

Duk also went on to criticize Neymar after the game, saying that the 24-year old should learn how to "respect his opponents". However, the Barcelona winger remains unapologetic despite being left with a bloodied face.

"I'm definitely not going to change, players have to know that when they face me that I have my own way of playing and that is dribbling, scoring goals and helping my team mates. I'm happy playing that way and if they don't like it there's nothing I can do," Neymar told Reuters, on Thursday.

The former Santos player's style at club level has also been scrutinized as Leganes player Lluis Sastre kicked out at the Brazilian for trying to showcase an extravagant move during a match last month.

"They can kick me and elbow me, but not every player in the world can dribble, that is getting harder and harder to do," Neymar added.

Neymar also said that the secret to Barca's attacking trident of MSN is the friendship he shares with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez on and off the pitch.

"We know that we are making history and that together we are all stronger. The magic of the trident is in the friendship we have on and off the pitch. We always help each other out," Neymar said.
