Liverpool has produced the perfect counter-attacking performance to thrash West Ham 4-1 at London Stadium in a Premier League encounter. In Bundesliga, Bayern Munich registered an emphatic 3-1 victory over the title rivals Borussia Dortmund to open a four-point lead at the top of the table.

West Ham United 1 – 4 Liverpool

For the Reds, Mohamed Salah scored twice, while Joel Matip and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also contributed in a 4-1 win against West Ham United. Salah opened the scoring in the 22nd minute of the game at the London Stadium off a rapid counterattack from a West Ham corner. Soon, Joel Matip doubled the Reds' lead two minutes later.

In the second half of the game, Danny Lanzini pulled the hosts back into the game scoring the first goal for his team in the 55th minute. But Liverpool didn’t give them any other chance to make a comeback as Oxlade-Chamberlain scored team’s third goal 57 seconds later, with Salah then scoring his second goal of the game 14 minutes from time. The Reds, who are now sixth in the Premier League points table, have now scored 10 goals in their last three games in all competitions.

Borussia Dortmund 1 – 3 Bayern Munich

Arjen Robben, Robert Lewandowski, and David Alaba all scored in Bayern’s seventh wins from seven games in all competitions since Heynckes returned to be the manager last month. Arjen Robben fired the champions ahead with a curling effort from just inside the area - the Dutch winger's 93rd Bundesliga goal which makes him Bayern's highest-scoring foreigner. Robert Lewandowski made it 2-0 from Joshua Kimmich's pass while defender David Alaba added the third in the 67th minute to present Bayern a 3-0 lead.

However, Dortmund scored a consolation goal when Marc Bartra netted a late goal, but that was never going to be enough for Dortmund, who have now lost three of their previous four in the Bundesliga and are without a victory in the division since September.
