Manchester United have finally ended a three-match winless run away from home thanks to an Ashley Young brace against Watford. Leicester City continues to impress under Claude Puel and after registering a 2-1 home win against Tottenham they have moved into the top half of the Premier League table.

Watford 2 – 4 Manchester United

Ashley Young was Manchester United's star for the second time in four days as he scored twice in the first half helping his side beat Watford 4-2 at Vicarage Road. Young stunned the home crowd with a volley which that beat Heurelho Gomes at his near post before adding a second through a curling free-kick into the top right-hand corner of Gomes' net. United increased their advantage with a third in the 32nd minute when Romelu Lukaku teed up Anthony Martial for a finish from outside the box.

Troy Deeney kept the hopes of his team alive when he opened the tally on the night for Watford in the second half from the penalty spot before Abdoulaye Doucoure put the ball past David de Gea to put United under some serious pressure. However, Watford failed to score the equalizer and ended up conceding one more goal as Jesse Lingard scored a fantastic fourth for the visitors after picking the ball up inside his own half, and driving into the box while producing a brilliant finish to put an end to Watford's resurgence.

The victory means that United have closed the gap on league leaders Manchester City to just five points with the latter scheduled to play tonigh.

Leicester City 2 – 1 Tottenham

Leicester started on the front foot and successfully put Tottenham under some early pressure. Jamie Vardy gave Leicester an early lead which Riyad Mahrez extended just before half-time. Both goals were of the highest quality as Vardy produced a deft lob and fans saw a curling shot from Mahrez which helped the Foxes to maintain a healthy lead entering half-time.

Even though Spurs dominated proceedings in the second half they failed to open their account. The break finally came 12 minutes from time as Harry Kane produced a consummate finish at the near post to set up a breathtaking end to the game. Spurs had a chance to level the game but Fernando Llorente failed to add the finishing touch to a Serge Aurier cross from five yards out.

The victory is the biggest result for Leicester since Claude Puel took charge and the Frenchman had taken Leicester to the top half of the game in his very first month.
