Real Madrid star Gareth Bale is set to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu, despite rumors insisting otherwise. The Welsh captain missed Real Madrid’s pre-season tour of Munich after his move to Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning collapsed and will now not be leaving until January at the very least.

The Chinese transfer window has come to a close and with the Gareth Bale’s potential £1 million a week move to Jiangsu Suning in China. The move collapsed after Real Madrid president Florentino Perez pulled the plug, and Bale has now decided that he will stay at the club according to AS.

The Welsh international skipped the Audi Cup 2019 after his move to China crashed down as he was furious at being denied his move after a long and arduous transfer saga. While his side was beaten by Tottenham, Gareth Bale was spotted by El Confidencial at the Ciudad Grupo Santander golf course in Madrid.

Manager Zinedine Zidane, however, had claimed that the club doctor’s had declared Bale un-fit and hence he could not travel to Germany. The 30-year-old knows that Real Madrid are dependent on his move away from Madrid to open up a move for Paul Pogba and with his £600,000 a week salary, it is getting harder for the Los Blancos to find potential destinations.

The Welsh international will now stay at the Bernabeu even though he is out of favour with Zidane and he will potentially spend large portions of his time on the bench. This has left Real Madrid with three options to get rid of Bale. The first one is to let him leave for free, which is what Jiangsu Suning wanted. The second is to terminate his contract, which will see Real Madrid effectively paying Bale to leave.

The third is looking for a European cub who want to buy the Welsh forward and are willing to pay his annual after-tax salary of £17 million. But with the transfer window coming to an end very soon, the ball is now in the Spanish outfit’s court with Gareth Bale and the entire of Madrid watching to see where the Los Blancos' club-record signing's future lies.
