Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has cooled down any interest in either Manchester United star Paul Pogba or Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar. Los Blancos have been heavily linked with a move for both players this summer, but haven’t managed to get a deal done for either player this summer.

Real Madrid have spent absurd amounts of money to try and get the shine back to their club, which may just work with the additions of Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic. However, that hasn’t stopped the rumour mill from linking both Paul Pogba and Neymar to the club. Both players have been intensely linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu, but any move has failed to materialize.

Now it looks like any move might be over, with reports indicating that Real Madrid potentially cannot afford a move for either Paul Pogba or Neymar. That is because attempts to sell James Rodriguez, Gareth Bale or even Mariano Diaz have all failed miserably. This has seen Zinedine Zidane come out in support of the team he has, ruling out moves for either Pogba or Neymar.

"Paul is a Manchester player and we must respect that. Neymar is not a Real Madrid player. The important thing is the players who are here. I will settle with what I have. I have spoken with the person who has to do things. I have the best players here, no doubt -- I always say that. I am happy with them, thinking just about tomorrow's game," Zidane said in an interview with ESPN.
