Brazilian superstar Neymar has been left out of the Paris Saint-Germain squad for the second week running, while media reports linking him with a move away from Parc des Princes. La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona have made bids for Neymar, but PSG are yet to accept an offer.

Neymar missed the Trophees des Champions and PSG’s opening match of their Ligue 1 season against Nimes after being dropped from the squad with reports that he had not recovered from the ankle injury he suffered during the Copa America. However, the BBC has now reported that the Brazilian will also miss PSG's second game of the season against Rennes.

But manager Thomas Tuchel insists that Neymar remains an integral part of the squad. He further went on to add that the 27-year-old wasn’t fit enough to play the first game and the second. Yet reports indicate that the Brazilian has been included in Tite's Brazil squad for the September friendlies, with PSG sporting director Leonardo adding that Neymar is fully fit.

"He started the training session with us, but finished individually. It's a little too early [for him] to start in a match, especially at Rennes' home. He is my player and when I think of a strong team, it includes him. If there is no solution for him, he will stay with us.  For now, nothing has changed. Neymar has three years left on his contract. He is sensitive, so I will always protect him. He needs to train with us and raise his intensity," said Tuchel said to the BBC.

However, the PSG manager has also admitted that Neymar’s future does remain in doubt amid serious links with a move away. The rumours are potentially true, with Leonardo going on to say that Neymar’s transfer talks were now "more advanced than before" earlier this week, reports the BBC.
