Gameweek 4 is nearly upon us and the managers are out in full flow for their pre-match press conferences. There is a lot to say with the North London Derby, Liverpool taking an early lead and Manchester United’s shock loss last week to Crystal Palace, although a few other issues will also take lead.

Arsenal

Unai Emery’s biggest challenge this season will be navigating the tricky waters of one big six clash after another, which is exactly what is happening now. They were thoroughly beaten by Liverpool last week and with the North London Derby on Sunday, Emery opened about Mesut Ozil, injury return for stars and his superstar trio.

“Yes, but be calm. My decision in each moment is thinking about how we are. For example, with Lacazette he had a problem with his ankle. This week is the best week of the last three weeks. He’s getting better and feeling better with his ankle, it’s very positive,” said Emery.

"With Pepe, he came here later than the others but he is getting and feeling better in each match. Aubameyang is very important for us, he scores two goals in the first two matches, he had two or three good actions in Liverpool."

Manchester United

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a lot to improve upon after the Gameweek 3 defeat to Crystal Palace, but his pre-match press conference was dominated by transfer talk. The Red Devils have lost Alexis Sanchez to Inter Milan during the week, with Chris Smalling, set to complete his move to AS Roma soon and Matteo Darmain also on his way out.

“I think Alexis needed to go. At the moment we know he has been here for 18 months and it's not really worked out for him. For him as well to restart and get himself playing regularly, getting himself scoring goals, that loan will only benefit everyone in the end.

"We're going to watch every weekend now to see Romelu (Lukaku) and Alexis playing together. We had a decision to make and I'm trusting Anthony , Marcus and Mason to be our centre forwards,” said Solskjaer.
