Chelsea have reportedly made contact with Ousmane Dembele’s agent to discuss a possible move to the Stamford Bridge as the transfer ban imposed by FIFA has been reduced by Court of Arbitration of Sports. Chelsea have already served a ban on one window and are eligible to make signings in January.

According to English media outlet the Sun, Chelsea have met with Ousmane Dembele’s representatives to discuss the possibility of the winger moving to England in the upcoming winter transfer window. The Blues received a major boost when they learned that their appeal against the FIFA transfer ban had been successful with the club now free to bring players in when the transfer window re-opens in January.

Dembele has had an injury-plagued career at Barcelona since his stunning move from Borussia Dortmund with the winger once again out for at least 10 weeks with his latest injury. Chelsea now have a major transfer kitty with reports suggesting Frank Lampard will have close to £150 million to spend in January and the Blues have updated their shopping list with them keen on bringing a winger into their squad.

Their shortlist includes Ousmane Dembele, Jadon Sancho and Wilfried Zaha as both Pedro and Willian, who are 32 and 31 respectively, look to be on their way out of the Chelsea team. Furthermore, reports indicate that Dembele's agent, Moussa Sissoko, has met with executives from Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester City. This has not gone down well with Barcelona, who are now keen to ship him out at the end of the season.
