After losing their last two games, Mumbai will want to give their supporters a reason to cheer as they take on the Guwahati-based franchise at home this evening. With eight wins from 15 games, Mumbai are sitting at the second position of the table but have not confirmed their place in the playoffs yet. They have 27 total points in the season so far and FC Goa are below them by only two points at the moment. Jorge Costa will have a tougher challenge as Lucian Goian is facing a suspension and Subhasish Bose will not be a part of the game as well because of an injury. 

Out of nine matches against the Mumbai team, the Guwahati-based side has only two wins so far. However, their main aim will be to upset Mumbai in today’s match when they will play the Islanders in Mumbai today. The two teams are separated by just three points on the points table at the moment in this year’s ISL. Coach Eelco Schattorie has Barthalomew Ogbeche and Federico Galego as the trump cards this season and the Highlanders will want to make it to the first-ever ISL playoffs this season.
