Manchester United are looking at Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with the Red Devils looking to replace the hole that Romelu Lukaku would leave. The Belgian striker has been linked with a move to Inter Milan and that has caused more than a few problems for the Old Trafford side.

Manchester United have shortlisted Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as their top Romelu Lukaku replacement. The Belgian striker has been heavily linked with a move to Inter Milan in recent months, even revealing his desire to play football in Italy. Inter Milan’s desire has been re-ignited with Sky Sports reporting that the club are willing to pay Lukaku 41 million in wages.

That is only if and when Manchester United are willing to deal with the Nerazzurri, but even then the Sun has reported that Aubameyang is on the shortlist to replace Lukaku. The 30-year-old has been one of Arsenal’s best players since arriving, finishing last season with 31 goals in all competitions and shared the Golden Boot with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

It does complicate things for Arsenal especially given the fact that Manchester United have been linked in the past with a move for the Gabon star. Those rumours eventually died down but now with Lukaku potentially on his way out, the Sun have added fuel to the dying embers. That being said, Manchester United and Inter Milan have yet to come to an agreement, with the two sides still hammering out the details.
