Jose Mourinho is very keen on the idea of replacing Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham with the Portuguese manager looking for his next managerial job. The Argentine has had a bad start to the season winning just three games and losing to Bayern Munich and even League Two side Colchester United.

Just two months into the 2019/20 season and the footballing world has already seen a catalog of managers sacked around the world, with Sylvinho and Marco Giampaolo joining the list. In England, Watford became the first Premier League club to sack their manager, replacing Javi Gracia with Quique Sanchez Flores, and there is increasing speculation that Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is looking for a way out following the club’s dismal start to the season.

The report added that the former Manchester United manager is looking for his next managerial project and believes that Tottenham is the right team for him. While he has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, AC Milan, and even Olympique Lyon over the last few weeks, the report stated that Mourinho is looking for something more. He has already reportedly rejected an approach from Benfica and even a big-money move from China, with Tottenham a project that appeals to him.

The 56-year-old has been out of a job since leaving Manchester United but at the same time he has taken over a role as a pundit on Sky Sports this season, appearing alongside the likes of Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher.
