Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale has flown to London in order to meet his agent Jonathan Barnett and discuss a potential Madrid exit in the upcoming transfer window. Bale’s trip to London has intensified the speculations of the 30-year-old star being unsettled under manager Zinedine Zidane.

Gareth Bale flew to London on Monday, just 48 hours before Real Madrid’s clash with Leganes, to meet his agent Jonathan Barnett reported the Daily Mail. It further added that it was a routine meet between the player and his long term representative. Reports have also indicated that the player’s future at Real Madrid might have been discussed as Bale remains unhappy with his current situation at the club.

Real Madrid have said Bale had permission to make the trip and did train in the confines of the Valdebebas training ground on Monday morning before going to London. Gareth Bale moved to Real Madrid in 2013 for £85.3 million which at that time was the world-record fee for a player. Since then Bale has enjoyed an on and off relationship with the club and club fans. When Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Juventus, Bale was expected to take the driving seat but instead but the superstar fell to injuries causing Zinedine Zidane to lose confidence in the forward.

The Frenchman spoke publicly against Bale in the summer and also said that it would be better if he left in the summer. This didn’t go down well with the former Tottenham player and his agent and he made his mind of moving out of Real Madrid. Sadly, a long term injury to Marco Asensio forced Real Madrid boss to change his stance on Bale and include him in his plans. Despite the inclusion, Bale remains unhappy in the Spanish capital and is reportedly keen on the exit.

The London visit came 48 hours before Madrid face Leganes in La Liga and it appears to be another symptom of the on-going breakdown in relations between the club and the player. However, Real Madrid is unlikely to allow him to leave before next year’s summer transfer window, as reported by the Daily Mail.
