Ante Rebic is on his way to Italy to provide some much-needed help to AC Milan's attacking line, with André Silva going the opposite way to Eintracht Frankfurt. Rebic did not feature in yesterday's game against Fortuna Dusseldorf just to make sure anything wouldn't happen to the player.

Eintracht Frankfurt's star Ante Rebic is part of a major deal involving the German side and European powerhouse AC Milan. The 25-year-old is set to join the Rossoneri on a two-year loan deal with no option to buy. Last season Europa League semi-finalists were hoping that they could retain the Croatian forward after a major overhaul in their squad this year, but haven't been able to keep that promise.

Frankfurt's sporting director Fredi Bobic has confirmed the move, according to Goal, "The clubs have an agreement. If everything goes fine Silva is a Frankfurt player tomorrow and Rebic in Milan."

Despite acquiring Bas Dost from Sporting Clube de Portugal, a player who has already scored his first goal, the club believes that André Silva will help them reach a  Champions League spot. The Portuguese international has been a disappointment in Italy and even in Spain, failing to find the net on a regular basis with injuries not helping his cause.

However, with Milan having already sold Patrick Cutrone and Frankfurt selling both Luka Jovic and Sebastian Haller, the move should add technically help both the strikers flourish.
