Paris Saint-Germain are considering a loan move for Inter Milan exile Mauro Icardi before the European window closes. The 26-year-old is out of favour at the San Siro and has already been told by the club to find a new home before the window closes or risk the chance of being benched till January.

Italian news outlet Calciomercato and French news outlet RMC sport have both reported that Paris Saint-Germain are considering a move for Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi. The 26-year-old has failed to make Antonio Conte’s team sheet for the first two games, with the former Juventus boss living up to his promise of refusing to use Icardi.

This has caused a few problems for the Nerazzurri, with Icardi reportedly suing the club to get back into the first team. However, after failed moves to Manchester United, Juventus, Napoli, AS Monaco, Valencia and even Real Madrid, PSG just might be his final option. Both Calciomercato and RMC have reported that the Parisians are keen on a loan move with an option to buy.

Sky Italia has further reported that the striker will sign a new deal with Inter Milan before going to PSG for the rest of the season. It further adds that they believe the Argentine could be Edinson Cavani’s long-term replacement, but at the same time make an immediate impact after injuries to both Cavani and Kylian Mbappe.

Wanda Nara, Icardi’s wife and agent, has further revealed that she will keep working till the very end, to make sure the 26-year-old gets the move he wants or doesn’t want.
