Wouldn’t mind a return to England, reveals Jadon Sancho

Jadon Sancho has revealed that he wouldn’t mind returning to England in the near future amid interest from Manchester United. Currently playing for Borussia Dortmund, the English starlet has made quite a name for himself in Germany, with many considering him to be the next great English star.

The 19-year-old has flourished since his move to the Bundesliga, establishing himself as someone to watch out for after making the bold move to leave Manchester City in 2017. That move has worked out brilliantly for Sancho with him contributing to 44 goals in just 60 appearances. That includes this season’s tally of 5 in 3 Bundesliga appearances, making him the only one to provide an assist in every game he’s played in the German top tier.

This combined with his scintillating form (either a goal or an assist in his last seven games) has rightfully earned him yet another call-up to Gareth Southgate’s England squad. But at the same time, his form has also been naturally subjected to widespread speculation about his future at Borussia Dortmund and his next club.

"I don't really try to take notice of all the media.I just try to stay focused on my game. Obviously being in Germany has taken off the pressure of the media and I think that's really helping me a lot and keeping me focused," Sancho told Sky Sports News.

"I can't tell the future but I wouldn't mind. La Liga I wouldn't mind also, but we don't know yet. I am just happy that I'm playing and that's the main thing. I'm just helping my team and learning every day when I'm on the pitch. It's a great start. I am just happy to have two goals and three assists. Hopefully, I'll just carry on," he said when asked about his future.
