Indian Junior men's hockey team hold Netherlands to 2-2 draw in Five Nations Tournament

In an intense encounter against Netherlands, Indian Junior men's hockey team was able to hold them to a 2-2 draw at the U-23 Five Nations Tournament. Initially, India were lagging behind in the game by conceding two goals but caught up eventually to draw the match against the Dutch.

The Indian Junior hockey team had to fight tooth and nails against Netherlands to reach a draw. The situation for India was initially stiff as they were two scores behind their opponents and had to present a tough competition to tie up the score as the match came to an end.

Marlon from Netherlands in fact scored a goal in the first minute of the match to intimidate the Indian squad. The early setback put more pressure on India as Jip Jansen was successful in scoring a goal in the 11th minute, hence taking the lead of 2-0 by the end of the first quarter.

In the second quarter, India geared up to attack Netherlands. In the 27th minute, India's Mandeep More scored to elevate the score. The third quarter was uneventful for both the teams. However, in the final quarter, Mandeep Mor scored another goal in the 48th minute to tie up the score. Netherlands couldn't score any further goals and had to be content with a draw against India.
