The Sunday evening in Mysore saw the home team Bangalore Rhinos thrashing Telugu Bulls in the South Indian derby by a huge margin of 31 points. In the other two games of the evening, Mumbai Che Raje got the better of Pondicherry Predators while Chennai Challengers defeated Pune Pride.

Bangalore Rhinos were determined to put up a stunning show in the Super Sunday encounter when they took on the neighbouring team Telugu Bulls. The game started off with Bangalore getting a huge eight-point lead at the end of the first quarter of the game. The second quarter was no different and at the half-time, the Rhinos were leading 27-11.Ā

The Bulls failed to have any impact on the game in the next 20 minutes as well and the Rhinos eventually won the game by a huge margin of 51-20 points. Vishal secured 21 raid points from the game and was adjudged the player of the Match.

Earlier in the evening, Mumbai Che Raje and Pondicherry Predators were involved in a very close fight which was eventually won by Mumbai 33-30. It was a very closely-contested first quarter to begin with as both the teams scored six points each after the first 10 minutes. The second quarter was the deciding factor in the match as Mumbai had a four-point lead at the interval.Ā

The second half was also evenly-poised and in the end, it was Mumbai that held to the lead and won the game. Despite Pondicherry losing the game, R Suresh Kumar was awarded Player of the Match for his raiding prowess in the game.

Chennai Challengers won the last game of the evening against Pune Pride by 39-35 points. It was also an interesting match and went all down to the wire before the eventual result came out. Chennai Challengers had a good lead at the end of the first 20 minutes of the game as they were ahead with the scoreline reading 22-13 in Chennaiā€™s favour.Ā

However, Pune gave a tough fight in the second half but failed to level the scores in the final 10 minutes of the match. Elayaraja picked up 14 raid and three tackle points and played the most vital role in Chennaiā€™s win. He was declared the Player of the Match as well.
