Bengal all-rounder Mohammad Esmaeil Nabibakhsh has said that the team is now preparing for the semi-finals and they are aware that the match will be a tough one. Delhi skipper Joginder Narwal has mentioned that his team has fans all around the country and will get a good support in Gujarat.

Bengal Warriors had a great run in the league stage and qualified directly for the semi-finals by ending second on the table. Maninder Singh led the team from the front in the raiding department but Iranian all-rounder Mohammad Nabibakhsh was also a player who made a lot of noise during the league. The Iranian contributed both in the raiding and defence and scored 78 raid points and 29 tackle points.

Nabibakhsh is now eyeing to do well in the semis where the Kolkata-based team will take on the winner of the eliminator tie between U Mumba and Haryana Steelers.

“The journey of Pro Kabaddi League Season 7 has been incredible, and the team has given their best to make it to the Top 2. We are now preparing for the semi-finals, and are aware that the game will be tough. We began the season on a positive note, and we intend to finish it as Champions,” said Nabibakhsh.

The other team in the semi-finals is Dabang Delhi. They topped the table during the league stage and waiting to face the winner of the eliminator game between UP Yoddha and Bengaluru Bulls. Skipper Joginder Narwal is expecting a good support from the crowd in Ahmedabad and also stated that the team is not under any kind of pressure.

“Kabaddi is a game that is loved by all Indians and I know that Dabang Delhi has supporters across India. So I’m sure we will receive a lot of support from our fans even here in Gujarat. The competition is now getting tougher as we head into the ‘Toughest Week’. This is the first time Dabang Delhi has qualified for the semi-finals, we are not under pressure, but it is the team’s and my wish to emerge as the Champions this season,” explained Joginder.
