Atanu Das was in splendid form in his run-up to the Round of 16 in the Men's Individual Archery event after placing fifth in the qualification round. He will be pitted against Lee Seung-
Golfers Anirban Lahiri and Shiv
Gagan Narang will be back in action for the 50m rifle prone event, along with Chain Singh, after his disappointing finish in the 10m air rifle event. Also in action will be Gurpreet Singh in the Men's 25m rapid fire pistol event.
In badminton, India's doubles pairs, Ashwini Ponnappa and Jwala Gutta, and Manu Attri and Sumeeth Reddy, will play their second group matches. Both had lost their first encounters.
After their victory against Samantha Stosur and John Peers in the Round of 16 yesterday, Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna will take on Great Britain's Andy Murray and Heather Watson, who were given a last-minute entry into the draw after the withdrawal of Romanian pair Monica Niculescu and Florin Mergea, for a place in the last-four.
