After confirming India’s second medal at the Rio Olympics, PV Sindhu will look to make it into a gold on Friday when she faces World No.1 Carolina Marin of Spain. The Spaniard leads the Indian 4-3 on head-to-head records with Marin winning the last meeting between the two at the 2015 Hong Kong Open in straight sets. Marin defeated 2012 London Olympics gold medallist Li Xuerui in straight sets in the semi-final yesterday.
