Saurav Ghosal, who will be one India’s biggest hope in squash at the CWG Gold Coast, has reached his personal best world ranking of 13. Apart from him, Joshna Chinappa, Dipika Pallikal, and Harinder Pal Sandhu also moved up while Vikram Malhotra, Ramit Tandon and Mahesh Mangaonkar stayed put.

Chennai: Squash star Saurav Ghosal, who will be leading India's charge in the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast in the next few days, has touched his personal best world ranking of 13 as per the latest release from the PSA. He was on 14 last month.

Generally, the fresh ranking list has an encouraging reflection for India with top players improving in their standings. Joshna Chinappa has jumped to 14 from 16, Dipika Pallikal Karthik has progressed to 18 from 20 while Harinder Pal Sandhu, the other top 50 player, improving to 47.

As for the rest, Vikram Malhotra is on 64, Ramit Tandon on 67 and Mahesh Mangaonkar on 68.
