If you thought there was nothing better than a 12-ball half century, wait till you watch Afghanistan batsman Mohammad Shahzad’s recent innings. Shahzad smacked a blistering 74 off just 16 balls in the recent match between the Sindhis and Shane Watson’s Rajputs in the T10 League on Wednesday.

The T10 League certainly had some buzz around it and so far has managed to live up to the hype. Despite some doubts initially, the league has generated enough interest across the Indian sub-continent as large crowds have flocked to the stadiums in order to watch some of the big names in the short-format were included in the teams.

These names include big shots - Chris Gayle, Brendon McCullum, Eoin Morgan, Jofra Archer, Colin Munro, Rashid Khan, Shane Watson, Shahid Afridi, Zaheer Khan, Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo, Lasith Malinga, Sunil Narine amongst others.

But last night’s match between Rajputs and Sindhis proved to be one hell of a ride for a neutral crowd as well as the fans in the stadium. Put to bat first, Shane Watson's Sindhis posted a challenging 94/6 in 10 overs with the help of 20-ball 42 from the skipper. What followed after was an absolute treat for the eyes and a disastrous few minutes for the bowlers and fielders.

Mohammad Shahzad along with Brendon McCullum went on to put up a dazzling display of batting against Shane Watson & Co. Shahzad in, particular scored an innings that will go down as one of the best-ever knocks by the opener. His 16-ball 74 was laced with six fours and eight sixes as the crowd was left amazed with his batting prowess. The team went on to secure the victory in only four overs. Talk about a powerful innings!
