It was the grand finale in the CPL, thus inevitably, there was set to be some sort of temper flaring up between the two sides - Zouks and TKR. In one round of who will get the better of the other, Javelle Glenn got caught into a spell of ‘mocking’ game before Bravo replied with a massive six.

At 2-88, the Zouks were pretty much seated well positioned to take the final and the grand prize home after Kieron Pollard sent them to bat first. However, fortunes turned around its head when the all-rounder and TKR skipper introduced himself into the bowling attack, picking up four wickets, conceding just 30 runs to restrict the Zouks to a score of 154. On a sluggish wicket in Tarouba, it initially looked like a tricky chase, when Tion Webster and Tim Seifert got out, with the score reading 19-2.

It boosted the confidence of the Darren Sammy-led bowling attack, who were constantly seen in a verbal battle with the flying Trinbago Knight Riders. With the Knight Riders still needing to up their ante, as the score read 86/2 after 13th over, Sammy introduced the young leggie, Javelle Glen. The pressure was right on the leggie to dismiss southpaw Bravo, who smashed him for a humungous six.

Right there, in the heat of the moment, the youngster cracked and decided to take the matter personally, ‘mocking’ Bravo’s batting after he pulled out of a delivery, which clearly irked the southpaw. After the zig-zag from the bowler, Glen walked back for the next delivery. Lest did he know that the 31-year-old Bravo took it ‘expression-for-expression’ as the left-hander crashed the next delivery - a half-tracker well over the square leg’s head - for a ‘huge’ six, leaving the bowler mouth-shut. Not only that, Bravo, after striking the humongous six, decided to embarrass the bowler Glen by copying his taunt. The day eventually ended in regret for Glen, who would end with figures of 0/15 off his solitary over in the final.
