European giants Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are looking to complete a goalkeeper swap before the transfer window closes on Monday. The swap deal will see PSG goalkeeper Alphonse Areola move to Madrid, while Real’s shot stopper Keylor Navas will travel in the opposite direction.

The Mirror reports that PSG’s first-choice goalkeeper,  Alphonse Areola has already moved to the Spanish capital to complete his medical with Real Madrid. The French International was left on the bench during PSG’s 2-0 victory against FC Metz, to ensure that nothing happens to goalkeeper that will prevent the move.

On the other hand, out of favour Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas has been looking to leave the club since the start of the summer window. With the Los Blancos signing Belgian shot stopper Thibaut Courtois, the Costa Rican star has found first team opportunities at a premium. Furthermore, the club have made it known that they are willing to sell the Costa Rican, with Navas eager to find a new lease of life.
