ISL 2021 | Croatian Farnjo Prce becomes third foreign signing of season for FC East Bengal

SC East Bengal have made yet another foreign signing, just before the start of ISL 2021-22. This time they have signed Croatian defender Fanrjo Prce, who has the experience of playing for Lazio. The youngster has shared the locker room with the likes of German Miroslav Klose and Ciro Immobile.

Croatian Franjo Prce has been signed by SC East Bengal, which makes him the third foreign recruit to enter the red and gold brigade, according to the club's release. Prce, who has played one match for Lazio team, has joined SC East Bengal from Croatian club NK Slaven Belupo. The other two foreign recruits for the club are Slovenian midfielder Amir Dervievic and Tomislav Mrcela.

“I have played with some of the big names in world football and it has helped me grow on and off the field. I think I can use my experience here in the ISL and try to help my team do well," he said.

“I am eagerly waiting to experience India and I also know this club has a massive fan base. It’s a shame that they can’t be with us in the stands but we will play for them. We always play for the fans."

At Lazio, even though Prce did not play much, but did share the locker room with the likes of former Germany striker Miroslav Klose and Ciro Immobile.

Prce, 25, would add the to defence strength of East Bengal, bringing in some valuable experience with him. Meanwhile, the club will play their first match in the ISL against Jamshedpur FC, on November 21.
