A brave Bengaluru FC had their Doha dreams dashed after a Hammadi Ahmad goal in the 70th minute was enough to crown Iraqi side Air Force Club champions of the AFC Cup at the Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium, in Doha, on Saturday night.

Bengaluru FC, on Thursday, announced that goalkeeper Amrinder Singh and Alwyn George had signed new one-year deals, which would keep them with the Blues until next season. Amrinder makes his loan move from Pune FC permanent, while the club activated the one-year extension clause on Alwyn’s contract.
