NorthEast United FC drew their last match of the ISL 2021-22 season 1-1 against SC East Bengal at the Tilak Maidan Stadium, Goa on Monday. A goal by Marco Sahanek in added time in first half put NorthEast United FC in the lead, before SC East Bengal hit back by Antonio Perosevic.

ATK Mohun Bagan and Mumbai City FC collided in a rematch of the Indian Super League (ISL) final from last season and it was the same outcome at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Fatorda, again but a much bigger margin of victory as the reigning champions emerged victorious in a dominating 1-5 win.

Indian midfielder Suresh Wangjam asserted that the players would remain humble and control their emotions after scripting a historic win over Oman in their opening match of the 2023 AFC U23 Asian Cup qualifiers, in Dubai. The Indian team will play their next match against hosts UAE, on Wednesday.
