The Bengaluru leg started with a thriller and also ended with one and the home team managed to climb up the table after winning 3 out of their 4 matches. Almost all the matches ended in last raids and there were some excellent performers so SportsCafe brings you the best 7 of the leg.

Pawan Sehrawat, Raider, Bengaluru Bulls

For Bengaluru Bulls, Pawan sometimes outscores all the opposition's raiders alone. In the Bengaluru Leg, apart frorn the first match where he struggled, the star raider scored 57 points in three matches. Some the raiders are struggling to reach that mark even in twice the number of games. In two of these matches, the results were decided in the last raids and he was the player who stood up his team then. Him being in our best 7 is an obvious choice as he can single handedly win a game.

Siddharth Desai, Raider, Telugu Titans

Bahubali's return to form was a brilliant sight in the last game of the leg as the raider turned into his own self from 2018 to pull back a game in just one raid. With is team trailing by six points and Bengaluru looking to close out their home leg with yet another win, he eliminated four players to inflict an all out and level the score. He Eventually, he ended the game with 23 raid points with a 100 percent strike rate. In the other match in Bengaluru, he missed his super ten by a point but it was enough to hand Telugu a win. This was the form we were hoping to see since the start of the season but nevertheless better late than never.

Abhishek Singh, Raider, U Mumba

He dominated Jaipur Pink Panthers defense in the first match U Mumba played in Bangalore, finishing with 13 points which included a last minute 4 point super raid. He was brilliant against their defence and kept his nerve at important phases in the game. In the next match against Puneri Paltan, it was due to his relentless efforts Mumba was able to tie the match as he got points in successive raids. He scored 11 points in that match and is just the appropriate player to be a part of a resilient raiding unit.

Parvesh Bhainswal, Left Cover, Gujarat Fortunegiants

As Gujarat became the only team to defeat Bangalore at home this season, one of its heroes in that effort was Paresh Bhainswal. Bhainswal scored 4 tackle points with a 100 percent strike rate to keep Pawan quiet in the first home game for the Bulls. He displayed signs of coming back in form and was one of the many positives Gujarat took from that match.

Ashu Singh, Right Cover, UP Yoddha

Ashu Singh is a surprise entry here as he definitely deserves the recognition. He has played 13 matches this season and has scored 23 points till now, which isn’t great but he is an up and coming defender so we can expect more from him. He scored 4 points in the last match against Patna Pirates and he was a force to be reckoned with. He scored the points with an 80% strike which is much better than his previous matches. He would hope to better performances in the future.

Fazel Atrachali, Left Corner, U Mumba

Fazel played two matches in Bangalore and scored a total of 9 points. His team won one of the match whereas they tied the other. His has an average tackle rate of 2.24 and he is working hard toward bettering his performance. He has done well in the first match against Jaipur Pink Panthers where he didn’t let any of their raiders gain substantial points and inflicted all-outs simultaneously. He will hope to get back the form of last season and do better for his team.

Nitesh Kumar, Right Corner, UP Yoddha

Nitesh Kumar is slowly getting back to his best and we saw the signs of that in his two previous matches. He scored 5 and 7 in those matches and his team also emerged as winner in both of them. He is the perfect choice for the right corner position as he has executed the team’s plan to the T in previous matches and also led them well.
