India's Jehan Daruvala, who is considered as a new sensation, kept his good form intact in the Austrian Grand Prix as he finished fourth in the third round of the FIA Formula 3 Championship. Jehan had finished the qualification round at fourth as well out of 30 racers with a lap-time of 1:19.934.

The Indian was on a quick lap in the qualification before the session was stopped by the red flag that forced him to abort the lap. It surely disturbed his momentum and when the session resumed after a break, Jehan finished fourth. It was a support race for the Formula 1 Austrian Grand Prix at the 4.318km long, Redbull Ring Circuit.

His teammate, Marcus Armstrong from New Zealand, however, was starting first of the competitive gird that had 22 racers within one second.

Jehan started well from his fourth position as well. He tried overtaking at the first corner very early but was defended well, while his mate Armstrong was exchanging lead with British racer Max Fewtrell before Estonia’s Juri Vips overleaped them both to win the race.

However, that was the most if it as the top five positions remained the same for most of the race before Jehan tried moving past Marcus for a spot on the podium right but was only pushed wide and had to settle for the fourth position only.
