India at Olympic Games today: Deepika Kumari and co feature in Archery ranking round

Indian men's and women's archery contingent will start their Olympic campaign today with the individual and team ranking rounds. Atanu Das is the sole representative for India in the men's individual event, while Bombayla Devi Laishram, Laxmirani Majhi, and Deepika Kumari will feature in women's.
After facing a lot of disappointment four years back in London, the women's archery team has a chance to redeem themselves in Rio. Deepika Kumari will lead the charge in the women's individual category for India, while Atanu Das is the only representative for the nation in the men's individual category. There will be a lot of pressure on the 24-year-old, especially, with the men's team failing to qualify for Rio.
