16-year-old Delhi boy to be trained by Usain Bolt in Jamaica

It is a dream-come-true moment for a 16-year-old son of a Rickshaw puller of a New Delhi slum after being selected to be trained in Usain Bolt's club - Racers Track Club in Jamaica. The young boy, Nisar Ahmed currently resides in a 10 by 10 feet shack in the nation's capital.
There is an eternal correlation between sports and poverty. For many, sports are a way out of impoverishment, a backdoor entry to the upper echelons of society, and thatās why when a poor child achieves something big, it makes for a great story. India pacer Mohammed Siraj grabbed headlines last year when he was picked for a whopping amount in the Indian Premier League. An 11-year-old Chandan Nayak from Bhubaneswar, whose mother worked day and night to provide for the family, made for a great story when was selected as one of the five kids to train with the European giants Bayern Munich in an all-expense paid trip for two months.
Adding one more chapter to the popular narrative, a teenager from a Delhi slum has been picked as one of the 15 athletes to be a part of a training camp at the home of the most decorated sprinter in the world.
"I am very excited to travel to Jamaica for training. I will learn there and one day will win a medal for the county. My father is a rickshaw puller and most of what he earns goes on me,ā Nisar told The Daily Express.
"I want to meet the Sports Minister so that I can ask him for support. I am sure if I will get the support I will do well. I am also training for Commonwealth Games trials and hope I will qualify."
