AITA denies reports of Sania Mirza's mother asking for doping test on Williams sisters

The AITA have dismissed reports that the mother of tennis star Sania Mirza had called them up to request international officials for a drug test on the Williams sisters. Reports suggested that Mirza's mother had done so in hopes that Sania could win an Olympic medal if the doping claims are proved.
Recent reports published by media claimed that Sania Mirza's mother Nasima Mirza had called the authorities at the All India Tennis Association(AITA) to request them to contact officials at the Indian Olympic Association(IOC) or International Olympic Committee (IOA) for a doping test on Serena and Venus Williams. Certain sections of the media also reported that the World Anti-Doping Agency(WADA) has allowed Venus to take prednisone, prednisolone and triamcinolone, among others, in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 for Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUE).
Earlier, it was also reported by FirstPost, on Thursday that an official at the AITA has said that they would not rush this issue as the WADA had not established anything on the Williams sisters' alleged intake of banned substances.
The Indian duo of Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna had lost their semifinal match to the USA pair of Venus Williams and Rajeev Ram, who won the silver medal at the recently concluded Olympics. If the medal winners are tested positive for banned substances, they will be stripped of their medal and the medal will be given to the players who finished behind the original medallist.
Denying all these reports, the AITA, on Friday, has released an official statement that reads as follows,
“All India Tennis Association has received no communication from either Mrs Nasima Mirza or Ms Sania Mirza or MYAS(Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports) regarding the issue of WADA, as has been reported by a section of media.”
According to documents released by the Fancy Bears, a Russian hackers team, Venus was allowed to take the drugs as the WADA rules allow athletes to take prohibited substances under the exemption of Therapeutic Use to treat medical conditions.
