Full Time

It would be absolute disbelief for the Delhi players and one can see it on their faces here. Absolutely devastating result but the visitors would only have themselves to blame for it. Goa might have been the more clinical of the two, but Delhi were the better side on the night creating numerous clear-cut chances only for their strikers to miss!

The scoring started with Bikramjeet giving Delhi the lead with a stunning long ranger. Goa came back into the game through Edu who gives fruition to a beautiful movement by the team. But, Delhi take the lead instantly though Chhangte in what looked like the end of the game for the hosts.

But, the match had a lot of stuff left and Sergio Lobera introduced Brendan to the fore with the last 25 minutes remaining. And it was the wild card as his solo effort brought Goa level out of nowehere! The cheery on the cake was Edu's second goal which was a glancing header from a seemingly offside position. Not a deserving win for Goa but they will take it with open hands.

Crespi tries going up as Goa clear it for a throw in the attacking third. Meanwhile, Hugo is down with a cramp! Delhi players are restless. Goa win another throw here and the ref blows the whistle!

Goa get a corner now! And they waste as much time as they can with Edu and Hugo keeping ball near the corner flag. Delhi clear it they don't want the ball on this side of the field now!

A big target man could help massively for Delhi only of Goa decided to go up for scoring again! They are unlikely to do so!

What a time to score!
Hugo's floating ball inside the box is met by Hugo whose back header sees the ball at the top corner of the net! Fatorda is rocking now! Oh, wait, it was offside. Goa are lucky and Delhi would be kicking themselves!

Jahouh puts in a delicious ball to Hugo inside the box. He falls behind but manages to get the touch. But, Delhi would have Dorronsoro to thank for as the goalie comes out of position to get to it first!

A beautiful attempt by Corominas to put the ball in for Manvir Singh through the middle but Delhi's defence reads it well and clears it just in time!

And Delhi do the same mistake that Goa had done for the first goal! Both the defence and the goalkeeping are at fault!
Mandar gives the ball to Brendan few yards from the edge of the box who gets no pressure at all to find his spot and take the shot. He places it extremely well as Dorronsoro fails to reach it at the near post.

Miss by Delhi!

Goalscorer Bikramjeet puts in an Ozil-esque through ball down the middle as Chhangte gets to the end of it with just the goal to beat! And he hits it high!

A half chance for Goa as Brendan's angular header just misses the near post after Seriton put in a brilliant ball.

Edu Bedia could be in trouble for unnecessary fouls! He gets lucky this time as Rene gets booked for overacting!

Miss Delhi!

pritam Kotal's long ball finds Rene free on the right. He looked offside but the linesman doesnt do anything. His cross finds Chhangte at the far post who only has the keeper to beat and his jumping header has gone up!

Goa have lost it as Edu brings down a Delhi player in the attacking third. Such shenanigans had started their downfall in the first place against Pune and they are doing it again!

Goal Delhi!

And Delhi do it this time! Rene's long ball inside the box is failed to be cleared by the Goa defence and Nandha Kumar shows good presence of mind to flick the ball to keep it inside. It is an easy goal for Chhangte and he slots it in!

What a horrible miss by Daniel!
Delhi on the counter and this time Nandha Kumar gives it to Daniel through Fall's legs! And he misses it by hitting it wide with nothing ut the goal to aim at! It brings Gombau on his knees!

It has been a one-way traffic here for quite some time but Delhi would be comfortable as they have no problem fending it off.

Goa get a corner as the ball didn't look to come off Chhangte but Hugo's set piece is dealt well by the hosts. That was the chance to exploit for the hosts!

Delhi miss a clear counter as Nandha makes a blunderous decision of not giving the ball to Daniel who was open at goal! His manager would be furious!

Narayan Das is booked for fouling Hugo! It could have gone both ways as the Goa player also dragged his shirt while falling down. The ref, however, sees only the Delhi one.

Another half chance for Goa as Kotal clears the ball against an attempted scissor kick by Coro. Goa are becoming dangerous with every move.

Chance Goa!
Another fast passing move by the hosts as Edu finds Jacki and Coro running alongside him upwards. He chooses Jacki and the return pass is just short.

A slight altercation between Gianni and Jahouh as the former tries to hold the other to get the ball while the ref sorts out Seriton's foul on Tebar. He has to be careful there.

Goal Goa!
Beautiful movement by Goa as Jahouh's long grounded ball from the deep end sees Hugo faking it and going up while Coro receives it and gives it to Mandar on the left flank. Mandar cuts it back for an onrushing Edu who has no problem finishing it! 

Goa have kept the ball well here in Delhi's third but they have difficulties penetrating it a Delhi have forted it well so far.

Carmona shows brilliant skill to tun from between Lenny and Jahouh before the latter brings him down. Delhi try going up from the free kick but Goe deal with it easliy.

Tebar and Carmona coordinate before the former loses the ball and consequently fouls Edu right in front of the ref. The official just gives a foul!

Chhangte brings down the nimble-footed Hugo in the defensive third and the ref shows the card this time!

Second Half

Goa kick us off with some quick passing as Jahouh passes sideways to get things going. Delhi look urgent but mindless here as their tackles go haywire with Goa getting closer to the goal before the ball is cleared at the last minute.

Half Time

Delhi would disappointed despite leading at the break for the sheer chances that they have missed so far. Goa have looked a threat when they have gone up but the hosts have hardly looked as sharp as Delhi on the attack. After Bikramjeet opened the score for the visitors, the visitors three more clear cut chances. We'll wait to see if they regret those in the second half.

Nandha Kumar keeps his volley true and if not for Mandar's shoulder deflection, it looked like a goal! Delhi miss another from the resulting corner through Crespi!

Chance for Goa as Hugo finds himself on the right and he does well to cut in and give it to Mandar. The full back loses the ball and Delhi goes on the counter with move ending with a corner.

Goa struggle to keep the ball here amidst Delhi's pressing and Carmona's ball to Nandha Kumar sees the Indian trying a low drive as the ball skims the side netting!

Similar chance for Bikramjeet as he gets the ball from Carmona again, and in a similar position. He goes with his left foot now and the ball goes out and wide.

Goa's full backs have done well to reduce Chhangte and Narayan Das' threats in the match so far, as Delhi have been forced to attack from midfield.

Delhi have physically imposed themselves on the Goa forwards so far, who have mostly been pushed around as soon as they have entered the Delhi box.

Chance for Delhi!

Jackichand's ball for Coror is headed backwards by Crespi but Narayan Das fails to collect it and on top of that, loses it to Edu inside the box. The midfielder takes a thumping shot from the left as Doronssoro gloves it out for a corner.

Hugo takes a whole tour of the midfield before Mandar joins him on the left flank. But, his cross is wayward and lacked the pace as Dorronsoro collects it easily!

Miss Tebar!
Lenny is picked up for a foul on Carmona just above the halfway. Another instance of Goa caught in their defensive third. And an unmarked Marcos Tebar misses a sitter from the freekick! His head goes outside.

Chance for Delhi!

The visitors win the ball in the attacking third and Daniel carries the ball before giving it to Chhangte on the right. However, his shot is intervened as Nawaz gets to it easily!

Delhi have successfully seen off the Goa threat in the first quarter here as the speed has mellowed down here. They should sit deep and only attack on counter now!

Chance Goa!
Seriton passes the ball to Lenny whose low cross is almost met by Jacki at the far post as the ball goes just wide!

Hugo and Coro combine well to get the ball into the attacking third through the congested Delhi midfield but it doesn't amount to anything.

Chance for Delhi!

Gianni gets a clear header inside the Goa's box from a Chhangte freekick but he hits is very wide. Edu's leg also hits his hands in the process and he is down in pai.n

Nandha Kumar is released on the right by Kotal by a through ball, but Mandar does really well to read it and shields the ball before clearing it upwards.

Carmona is brought down in the midfield as Delhi try to start the match fast as possible but Seriton does brilliantly to Channgte on his tracks. Although Delhi regroup and re-attack, Goa defend his easily.

Edu Bedia was testing the ref's patience there! Corominas was called offiside as the striker still decides to go past the keeper to score. Edu tried pulling Coro away from the ref but the official decided to keep his cool.

A missed opportunity for Goa as Lenny breaks away from the passing rhythm to go for a long ranger. Lobera won't be happy here!

Delhi are keeping the ball well for now, at least, and have congested the midfield to force Goa to use the flanks. But, Kotal has struggled to cover Jackichand and Mandar Rao Desai.

Dorronsoro keeps Goa at bay for the moment as Delhi try to attck again after a wave of attacks from the home side. But, they are not very clinical.

Save by Dorronsoro!
Jackichand looking dangerous again. He outpaces the whole Delhi defence to reach to the ball  first on the left flank before playing a one-two and putting in a cross. Coro does brilliantly to hold to it under pressure but his shot, although deflected, is saved by Dorronsoro, only just.

Good job by the ball boy here, who starts the play really quick as soon as it is out for a throw. Goa try to get inside the box but the Delhi pressure them out before Edu Bedia, who pass to Jahouh is followed by a shot that Dorronsoro saves comfortably.

Goal Delhi!
That's out of absolutely nowehere! Marcos Tebar gives it to Carmona in the midfield who just passes it sideways to Bikarmjeet who was few yards away from the edge of the box. The Indian is given a lot of time to aim his shot and he does it impeccably as the ball settles at the left post out of Nawaz's reach.

Goa had almost caught Delhi offguard in the midfield as Jahouh's through ball to Lenny hits his legs!

Delhi are try to pry Goa by pressing high up the field, which I don't think is a great idea in the first place for their passing ability under pressure is unparalleled. And Delhi get cracked open in a flash before Seriton's cross goes harmless.

Early chance for Delhi as Nandha's cross from the right flank is just inches above Daniel in the middle who sees it late as the ball goes to the other flank and Delhi could do nothing from there.

Kick Off!

The countdown is done and Daniel gives a short back pass as Delhi try to keep the back at the back before losing it to Goa's high pressure.

Dynamos, given their poor form, would have a pretty uphill task when they visit the den of FC Goa at the Fatorda Stadium as they still remain in search of their first win of the campaign. Goa, on the other hand, would be on nervy grounds despite Corominas’ return after their last defeat.

Goa were downright humiliated at the JRD Tata complex when Cesar Ferrando’s men ran a 4-1 rout on them with the free scoring side totally paralyzed up top. In the absence of Ferran Corominas, the Gaurs looked out of idea of sorts as neither their midfield nor their strike force could inject any kind of threat whatsoever. However, they will have a real chance to get back to winning ways today as they host the struggling Dynamos.

Dynamos, on the other hand, might not have broken their winless streak but have definitely looked comfortable scoring as they gave Jamshedpur a hard time in their backyard before the visitors eventually came with an equalizer. Delhi have conceded 10 goals this season, so far, which is a source of worry today as they would face a side who could score almost at will.
