What a game we had to kick-start the playoffs in PKL. UP Yoddha has knocked out one of the strongest teams in the league U Mumba. A great combination by the defenders ensuring this win and they will play the third eliminator now to get a berth in the finals.

The game was completely dominated by Nitesh Kumar and Jeeva Kumar and both completing their High 5s was the best thing for UP Yoddha. Their raiders were sensible enough seeing the points being scored through the tackles while for U Mumba, Siddharth Desai failed to impress under pressure and they had to pay the price as Surender also looked out of touch in the defence.

What an exciting first half it was to start the playoff stage of the Pro Kabaddi League here in Kochi. UP Yoddha is having a three-point lead which is not enough for them in this game considering the strength of U Mumba.

The defence of UP has looked deadly today as Nitesh Kumar and Jeeva Kumar has put up some very good tackles and they haven't allowed a raider like Siddharth Desai to succeed. Same for the Mumba camp as well and Fazel Atrachali and Dharmaraj Cherlathan will want to continue with this during the last few moments of this encounter.
