Although Rishank Devadiga came in as a substitute and went for a Super Raid, Delhi still managed to prevail against UP in their second game and to the delight of their fans, they are now at the topmost place of the points table in the seventh season. Krishan Kumar Hooda and Joginder Narwal are really happy with the way the team performed in this game.

Naveen Kumar starred in the raiding department as it has been so far in the tournament while Ravinder Pahal also completed his High 5 at the right corner position.

Delhi did well after failing to get a good start in this game. Naveen Kumar is leading the team with some brilliant raids and that is where the team from the national capital has managed to live up to the expectations of the fans those who have come in great numbers to perform here. Monu played well for UP in the first half but that was not enough for UP to get the lead.

Dabang Delhi staged a smart comeback in the last minutes and won their first home game by two points and in this match, they will want to continue the winning momentum. UP Yoddha won their last match against Jaipur with a big margin so they would be high on confidence coming into this match as well.

Dabang Delhi won their last match despite lagging behind for the majority of the match. Their defense was hasty in the first half and gave away points easily but once they were settled they worked hard towards rectifying their mistakes. They transferred the momentum toward their side in the last five minutes and Naveen Kumar & Meraj Sheykh were the main reason for that. In the raiding department, Naveen was as usual brilliant as he finished the match with 13 raid points. Though support raider Chandran Ranjit didn’t have a happy outing as he was able to score only two points and got substituted midway. The defence did make around 14 unsuccessful tackles but managed to perform at crucial situations, though in this match they would hope to better their performance.

UP Yoddha did well in their last match where they defeated Jaipur Pink Panthers by seven points. The team looked more balanced than before with the inclusion of Rishank Devadiga. Both the departments did well, in raiding, Surender Gill emerged as a dark horse and scored seven points and he was appropriately supported by Shrikant Jhadav who scored six points. In the defense, Sumit was the highest scorer with four points and other defenders did their bit by scoring few points each. Up Yoddha will target Naveen and hope to contain him as he is Delhi's raiding unit's backbone.

He performed well in his last match despite the strong performance of the defence. Bengaluru defence wasn’t willing to take a chance against him so he switched to bonuses and finished the match with a score of 13 raid points. He adapts to the situation well and that is his best quality as a raider. He will want to continue his momentum against UP’s defence as well.

Rishank Devadiga 

His team’s tackle strike rate increases when he is present on the mat because he of his experience of studying a raider and because of that he is able to guide the defence as well. In their last match, his voice was easily audible and we were able to hear how much his presence affects the proceedings. Though the team management would also hope for a better individual performance which would definitely help the team.
