Well that's that from gameweek 6 and that made my head spin. Not just because I have the flu but because all four games were end-to-end action. Oh it was brilliant and next up is Gameweek 7, naturally, but not before the Carabao Cup makes its return. There are a few interesting games in the cup and hopefully, it should be another brilliant mid-week of football.
But for now, goodbye and goodnight..

Full time and Chelsea put up once hellva fight. They fought tooth and nail, went toe-to-toe with one of the best teams in the world and came out on the losing side. But by the slimmest margins possible, because Frank Lampard and his men need to walk out of that game with their heads held high. They forced Jurgen Klopp to switch to a back-five, something the Liverpool boss has rarely done and that alone needs to inject confidence into this Chelsea side.
Liverpool, on the other hand, look good. Their defense is slowly walking back to it's usual shape and with Alisson in goal, it just might keep an incredible amount of clean sheets yet again. But Adrian is proving to be a brilliant replacement and while he does have a few flaws to his game, he's a worth back-up and someone who will demand and deserves more game-time after his recent performances.

ARS 3-2 AVL (FT)
Full time and Heaton's kick comes to nothing, but Aston Villa will be hard-pressed to find a positive walking away from the Emirates. They had the lead twice and squandered it twice, allowing the home side to eventually win 3-2 in a see-saw of a match. Fun, exciting and entertaining but tense and tight all at the same time.
For Arsenal, the only positives will be Nicolas Pepe is off the mark and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the best player they have. Barring that, Unai Emery still has a lot of work to do on his back-line, because they let in 2 completely avoidable goals against a Villa side that really should have never threatened that back-line.

It's full time at the Bridge, and we'll give you the full report a little later, because the game at the Emirates is in it's dying moments. Arsenal does hold a slim lead, but Villa have a free-kick that Tom Heaton is set to smack down the field.

Four minutes of extra-time at the Bridge and Five at the Emirates, and Sunday night football is far from over. Jurgen Klopp is set to make a defensive change, as Mo Salah is set to replaced by Joe Gomez, which is by any standards a compliment to this Chelsea side.

Sorry about the lack of commentary about the big game of the night, but all the action was happening at North London. Corner for Arsenal after a mis-kicked Nicolas Pepe bicycle kick heads towards Calum Chambers but his shot is defelected out for the corner. Eight odd minutes into this second half and Arsenal look dead. That's right, I said dead. They cannot seem to keep a hold of the ball, they can't create anything, they're struggling to take a shot on goal, let alone find the back of the net and Emery doesn't look happy. Three minutes of extra time in both games and neither London sides will be happy with their performance. Chelsea may be 2-0 down against Liverpool but Arsenal are 1-0 down and are down to 10 men against Aston Villa. Five minutes of extra time here and like Manchester United, Wolves do not look like they can overcome this deficit. They do have the disadvantage of being down to 10 men, but the sheer fact of the matter is, they've been second best in the second half. CRY 1-0 WOL
It may just be 1-0 to Crystal Palace but Wolves do not look like they can get back into this game. I could be wrong, but with just ten men on the field, the away side have done close to nothing since losing Roman Saiss.

WHU 1-0 MUN
Ryan Fredricks goes down and it doesn't look like he can continue. Pablo Zabelta does a quick warm-up and then walks on to replace the full-back. Manchester United are preparing Angel Gomes and it does look like he might replace Juan Mata.. The past and the future on the field for mere seconds, but that could prove to be a gamechanger for the away side.

WHU 1-0 MUN
Cresswell cannot hit the target, but his shot does give De Gea a little bit of a scare. The Spaniard leaps up only to realise, seconds later, that the ball was flying just above his goal post. The Hammers are doing well to threaten the Red Devils, who cannot do the same.

WHU 1-0 MUN
Free-kick for West Ham as Fred brings down Jack Wilshere and the world breathes a sigh of relief as the former Arsenal man gets back to his feet. Aaron Cresswell is over the kick, as Yarmolenko walks away and he is a decent free-kick taker.

CRY 1-0 WOL
RED CARD FOR WOLVES!!
Roman Saiss has been sent off after his second yellow card off the game. The first was for a slide tackle on Wilf Zaha and the second was for a pull on, once again, Wilf Zaha. Not the best night for the central midfielder and he walks off the field looking angry.

WHU 1-0 MUN
Jack Wilshere walks on for the home side, replacing Felipe Anderson as Manchester United make their second change of the night. They replace Nemanja Matic with Fred, and the Serbian will be happy to walk off the field. He hasn't had the best game and needs to improve on it, if he wants to stay in the team.

WHU 1-0 MUN
Corner for Manchester United, as Ashley Young lobs it in. The ball falls to Harry Maguire, and his shot is saved quite brilliantly by Fabianski and the Red Devils' center-back has his head in his hands. He knows just how good that chance was and if an offensive player had got there first, who knows what the scoreline might be right now!

CRY 1-0 WOL
Yet another chance for Wolves as Raul Jimenez tries an outrageous mid-air backheel to try and beat Guaita. That always had one result because the shot had barely any power, coming off a weak-ish cross. The Palace goalkeeper saves it comfortably and the game moves on. That has been the story of the game so far, Wolves with the outrageous attempts but few that really threatened Guaita.

WHU 1-0 MUN
That does seem to be the end of Marcus Rashford as Jesse Lingard replaces the Englishman and it does look like his race is run. That's really not good news for the Red Devils and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks frustated and unhappy at the same time.
22 Sep, 07:46
WHU 1-0 MUN
Sebastien Haller cuts a frustated figure on the field and no-one blames the Frenchman. He's been starved of possesion in this game and nobody wants to or even can get the ball towards his head, feet or body.
And Marcus Rashford falls to the ground, and that is not good news for the away side. They don't have Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood or even Romelu Lukaku(oops) on the team-sheet.

WHU 1-0 MUN
Corner for West Ham, who work it short, and Felipe Anderson's pass had just too much on it for Aaron Cresswell. Manchester United try and break, but Issa Diop is there and makes a well-timed tackle to stop the counter. Not the worst attempt from the Hammers but they need to do better to double their advantage.

CRY 1-0 WOL
Wolves look shell-shocked. That goal from Palace was not the way they expected the second half to go and they'll now do well to buck up and perform. Fear not Wolves fans, because if there is one thing your side can do, it's buck up and perform. They've done it time and time again in the Europa League, and it's high time they start doing it in the Premier League again.

WHU 1-0 MUN
With Palace scoring in the other game of the evening, Manchester United miss a sitter just minutes after the restart. A brilliant ball is played across the defense for Juan Mata but the Spaniard just cannot seem to tuck the ball past a Fabianski who could do nothing but watch as the Spaniard missed the shot.

CRY 1-0 WOL
GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLLL!!!
And that's a wonder strike by Joel Ward. The Eagles have scored within 40 seconds of the restart, with Schulpp skipping past the Wolves back-line, Kouyate recycles the ball and McArthur lays it off for Ward. He puts all his might into that shot and hits it straight at Rui Patricio, but a deflection takes the ball into the goal.

CRY 0-0 WOL
Half-time over here as well and Nuno Espirito Santo would not have been unhappy with his team's performance in the first half. He wouldn't have been happy either, because Wolves really should be atleast two to the good.
There's always the second half, but against a Wilfried Zaha, that might be a tough ask.
