Tokyo-bound wrestler Bajrang Punia has reached Russia for his final lap of preparations ahead of the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. The three-time world champion and one of India’s biggest medal prospects in the upcoming event will skip the upcoming world ranking series in Warsaw that begins on June 8.

Two-time Olympian Vijender Singh feels that no one can take away the achievements of fellow Indian Sushil Kumar, even after the latest developments which led to the latter being arrested by the Delhi Police. Sushil is considered the greatest Olympian from the country, with two medals to his name.

Tokyo-bound Indian wrestler Sonam Malik vows to put up a commendable performance at the Olympics, with her set to feature in the women’s 62kg event. The grappler qualified by virtue of entering the gold medal bout at the Asian Olympic qualifiers in Almaty, Kazakhstan, last month.
