Reports| Danny Rose set to leave Tottenham after being dropped from preseason tour
Tottenham star Danny Rose has been left out of the club’s pre-season team-sheet with the left-back looking to leave the North London side. Rose does have two years left on his current deal with the club and has been on the market since last summer, but no move has materialized as of yet.
Less than a month and a half since walking out onto the Wanda Metropolitano for the Champions League final, both Danny Rose and Kieran Trippier are on their way out. Trippier has already joined Atletico Madrid in a move worth £20 million, with the right-back passing his medical on Wednesday.
Rose, on the other hand, has been left out of Tottenham’s pre-season tour to Asia with the expectation that the left-back will be leaving the club. The Telegraph has reported that the 29-year-old has been on the market since last summer but no move has taken place as of yet. Everton did show an interest in making the leap but opted instead to sign former Barcelona man Lucas Digne.
The Telegraph further added that there has been no falling out between either manager and player or the club and the player, with Tottenham open to letting him stay if no offer comes their way. The North London side have set a £25 million price tag on the former Leeds United star’s head, with Ryan Sessegnon being touted as a long term successor.
