IND vs SA | First T20I in Dharamsala expected to be uninterrupted despite shower forecast

Dharamsala will host the first of three T20Is between the two teams, but one thing that will interest both captains is the weather. The good news is that the weather is pretty clear for the night, but at the same time, steady showers are expected throughout the entirety of the day, with Accuweather reporting that there will be a 50% chance of precipitation, with at least an hour of heavy rains expected.

While the chances of the match getting abandoned can almost certainly be ruled out, we might just have a slightly shortened game in our hands if indeed it rains throughout the day, which in turn will delay the start of the match. This will again mean that the captain who wins the toss might prefer bowling first, just to exploit the conditions as there will definitely be some help for the bowlers early on. The temperature, on the other hand, is expected to be pretty cool - around 17°C to be precise - which the players again won’t definitely mind.
