T20 cricket has long upheld the mantra 'all runs count' but as far as the spectators are concerned, all cricket shots are simply not created equal. The point was proved in style by Sikandar Raza on Saturday after the all-rounder exhibited utmost grace with a six for the ages in Harare.

Zimbabwe lost the plot in a hurry midway through their batting innings during the first T20I against India as they collapsed from 74/3 to 90/9. Ravi Bishnoi inflicted the most damage with four scalps in as many overs, ensuring the hosts are restricted to a subpar total against the inexperienced Indian batting unit. However, amidst all the chaos and constant fall of wickets, skipper Sikandar Raza ensured it wasn't all gloomy for the fans in Harare with a six that would be played on a loop for years to come as an epitome of poise and finesse.

On the second ball of the 10th over, Avesh Khan pitched a length ball on off-stump, inviting Raza onto the first foot. The veteran immediately seized his opportunity and with his bat straight as an arrow, launched the Kookaburra over the pacer's head. The bat flow was as fluent as they come, the balance exceptionally steady, and the connection incredibly sweet. Raza made sure to hold his pose for the cameras to get their clicks, knowing the elegance with which he had managed to pull the off was no ordinary feat.

Twitterati, expectedly, could not help but drool over the fantastic display of batsmanship.

What a shot!

He was looking good at one point!

Good one!

He was looking great!

That shot from his bat!

Haa!

That's brilliant!

Great shot!

Lord!

Oh god!
