Indian captain Virat Kohli took to social media just one day after India's win in the pink-ball Test against Bangladesh where he posted a picture of him running alongside Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant and quoted that it is impossible to outrun Jadeja. Jadeja is arguably India's best fielder.

India completed a series whitewash comfortable again by beating Bangladesh inside three days in the historic pink-ball Test at the Eden Gardens. A delighted skipper Virat Kohli then took to social media the next day and posted a picture from the team's conditioning session where he is running alongside Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant. Kohli tweeted, "Love group conditioning sessions. And when Jaddu is in the group, it’s almost impossible to outrun him."

Jadeja is arguably the best fielder India has produced in the past decade and it is his gun fielding that adds a third dimension to his game along with his batting and bowling ability. He easily saves 15-20 runs every time he is on the field in an ODI or a T20 and even in Tests the way he chases a ball running to the fence in a sight to behold. Jadeja recently has also shown the team management that he is a capable batsman at number six, at least in the home conditions with his good shot selection and temperament. This allows India to play with five quality bowlers and attack the opposition at all points of time which has indeed helped them in their home series wins over South Africa and Bangladesh.

He has three scores of fifty and more in Five Tests playing at number six which included a brilliant 91 against the Proteas.India have also won overseas against West Indies where they whitewashed them 2-0 and there they played with an extra batsman in the form of Hanuma Vihari who scored his maiden hundred. This has shown how flexible the Indian team has become as they have been successful using different team combinations for different conditions and opponents. India sit pretty at the top of the ICC Test Championship standings with 360 points winning all of their seven Test matches so far.
