FC Pune City to start Corporate Super Cup on June 9

In their aim of touching every community in Pune, FC Pune City will continue their third edition of the Corporate Super Cup on June 9 in Mamurdi. A part of the initiative would see 24 of some of the top Pune corporate participating in a 11-a-side football tournament.

Pune, 8th June 2018: - In their continuous endeavour to touch every community in the city of Pune through football, the Rajesh Wadhawan Group & Bollywood superstar Arjun Kapoor co-owned Indian Super League team FC Pune City will kick off the third edition of the Corporate Super Cup on 9th June 2018 at FC Pune City training ground in Mamurdi.

“The support we have got in the last two editions of the Corporate Super Cup has been overwhelming and the top-four finish last ISL season has spurred the fans as well as us to go to the next level. FC Pune City continues its commitment to build on this and create a larger fan-base and make football the go-to sport for Pune-based corporates. We promise to make Corporate Super Cup bigger and better than the previous editions,” said Mr. Gaurav Modwel, CEO, FC Pune City. 

A part of FC Pune City’s Forces Of Football initiative, the Corporate Super Cup will be 11-a-side football tournament with 24 of some of the top corporates of Pune participating. The tournament will be played over the weekends, this initiative is to target the corporate community and engage with them closely by delivering a money-can’t-buy experience that cuts across the corporate hierarchies and genders.

Top corporates like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Convergys, Cognizant, FinIQ, Cybage, Vodafone, KPIT, Amdocs, Thermax, Deloitte, Capgemini, Dassault Systems, Symantec, Barclays, Atos, Ubisoft and others will battle it out for the crown of Corporate Super Cup 2018. The semi-finals and final will be played at the FC Pune City world-class facility in Pirangut. In the 2017 edition, FinIQ were the champions whereas Capgemini were the runners-up.

With the Corporate Super Cup being a great platform for brands to reach out to the corporate community of Pune, FC Pune City is proud to have once again partnered with McDonald’s and Radisson as well as Fast & Up, Scarters, Nestaway and Zoomcar for this year’s edition. The participating teams will get special offers and benefits from the partnering brands.

Among other benefits, the winners and runners-up will get their hands on cash prizes and trophies, whilst all the participating teams will get quality match kits, ISL match day tickets, FC Pune City exclusive merchandise, an opportunity to meet & greet with the FC Pune City players and the teams will get a chance to practice at the FC Pune City's first class training facility.
