During an interactive Twitter session with the fans on Thursday, Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has revealed that South African star AB de Villiers is his most prized scalp in Test cricket. Ashwin has also named KL Rahul and Cheteshwar Pujara as his partners-in-crime in the dressing room.

Ravichandran Ashwin was revealed as the winner of the ICC Test Cricketer of the Year and was also the recipient of the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy given to the ICC Player of the Year on Thursday. The 30-year-old later held a Q&A session on Twitter, where he answered a lot of questions from the fans.

One of them asked him about his most memorable scalp in the Tests, and the spinner pointed towards the dismissal of AB de Villiers in the 3rd Test of the four-match series in India last year in November. Ashwin bamboozled the South African with a carrom ball in the second innings and trapped him in front of the stumps. He went on to take seven wickets in that innings as India defended the target of 310 and bowled South Africa out for 185 to win the game, and the series, by 124 runs.

Ashwin has also labeled Indian opener KL Rahul and Cheteshwar Pujara as his partners-in-crime in the dressing room.
