Anirban Lahiri, who was tied second at Greenbrier Classic, has slipped four places to be tied sixth while Aditi Ashok, who was tied 22nd overnight, has slipped to 26th spot. Lahiri is still in striking distance of the leaders, while Ashok is thirteen shorts behind the runaway leader, Sei Young Kim.

Anirban Lahiri, who turned 31 a week ago, has been steadily showing the kind of form that made him the player to watch out for when he first came to the PGA Tour in 2015. Since then, he has been close but could not get his first win. Lahiri slipped from his overnight tied second place to tied sixth, scripting a terrific comeback after a disappointing front nine to bring home a card of one-over 71in the third round of Greenbrier Classic at White Sulphur Springs, US, on Saturday.

Lahiri, who bogeyed the first, second, seventh and ninth holes on the outward journey, stopped the rot on the back nine as he birdied 12th, 14th and 17th holes to take his total to 11-under 199. The Indian golfer still would be within striking distance of leaders Harold Varner (66) and Kelly Kraft (69), who were on 14-under 196.

Indian ace Aditi Ashok, who was tied 22nd overnight, slipped to the tied 26th spot. Ashok shot her third straight round in the 60s, three-under 69 and moved to 11-under 205 at the Thornberry LPGA Classic at Oneida, US, on Saturday. Ashok, who had rounds of 68 and 69 on the first two days, has been 13 shots behind runaway leader, Sei Young Kim, whose rounds of 63, 65 and 64 put her at a record 24-under 192.
