Indian cricketers aren’t always appreciated for their fielding skills save the likes of a few. But the Kings XI Punjab's Manoj Tiwary and Mayank Agarwal managed to team up near the boundary line to pull off a relay catch that saw them dismiss RR star player Ben Stokes with a brilliant effort.

Kings XI Punjab have been criticised this year for their lack of effort when it came to fielding in their home and away games. R Ashwin was vocal about how he expected more from his players as well himself when it came to putting in a good performance while fielding and boy have the Lions from Punjab done exactly what their skipper asked for. After Chris Gayle pulled off a stunner earlier during the match to send Rajasthan Royals skipper Ajinkya Rahane back to the dressing room, it upto Manoj Tiwary and Mayank Agarwal to keep the momentum going.

The incident took place in the thirteenth over of the first innings as Afghanistan talent Mujeeb Ur Rehman looked to spin his magic and continue his fine form in the 2018 IPL. Stokes was settling in nicely with compatriot Jos Butler at the other end going steady for the Royals. But then it all changed for the visiting team.

Stokes aimed to go for a big one towards the end of the over as Rehman played directly into the Britisher’s hands who hit the ball hard and straight down the ground. Mayank Agarwal was first to respond on the boundary line as he managed to get his hands around the ball as jumped backwards in the air. As he fell backwards, Agarwal threw the ball towards teammate Manoj Tiwary, who had come in from deep midwicket. The latter successfully caught the ball and completed a fine catch. Stokes and RR coach Shane Warne looked stunned with the entire incident as the former made his way back to the dugout.
