Any T20 match has always been a mentally-tiring affair and sometimes it makes player sweat it hard for their money. Shaun von Berg was visibly tired after bowling four overs and exchanged his smelly cap with wicket-keeper Gihahn Cloete after few seconds of observation, which made for a funny watch.

Over a decade-long career for Titans, von Berg has always remained a domestic giant in South Africa but never got beyond South Africa A level. However, he has never lost his motivation and continued to ply his trade for Titans and wherever he gets a chance. Apart from his fine leg-spinning ability, his antics have often made him a popular figure in every team and Mzansi Super League saw von Berg pulling another one of his own against Nelson Mandela Bay Giants.

AB de Villiers-led Tshwane Spartans managed to score 165 runs in the first innings and needed an inspiring bowling display to defend the total. Shaun von Berg, who was one of the senior-most players in the team, had to take the responsibility and he did that with elan. In four overs, he conceded only 19 runs while picking up three wickets.

Von Berg came to bowl the 18th over of the run-chase, and from the very look of it, he seemed very tired too. When he went on to take his cap from the coach, there was a bit of confusion as umpire had two caps with him - one being of Von Berg, and the other one was that of wicket-keeper Gihahn Cloete. Being unsure of which cap was Von Berg's, umpire handed over both the caps to the bowler who decided to take the benefit of the situation.

He first smelt both gaps and after few seconds of observation, he decided to use the better one for himself and gave the other one to Cloete.
